This project is simple and easy to do with your little ones. To make this Christmas Gingerbread Village simply follow these steps:
- Clean and dry window surface
- Print the Gingerbread Village template, PDF with 3 pages. Download here: Gingerbread Village Template
- Tape stencil to the outside of your window using painters or masking tape.
- From the inside of the window, trace the drawing with a chalk marker.
- Fill in details and move the templates around as you wish.
Tips: It doesn’t need to be perfect, just fun! Embrace the mistakes so that it looks homely. It you really don’t like it simply wipe it off and start again.
I used a thick marker so that the images stand out. You can also add in little details like fairy lights and snowflakes to give it something a little extra.
